To celebrate the 75th Annversary of the North American Harvard in Canada the Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association held the Gahering of Harvards and Heroes at their home base in Tillsonburg, Ontario. Over 18 Harvards and T-6 aircraft attended the event along with many veterans that flew and worked on the Harvard

97 year old Walter Irwin was a Harvard pilot in 1942 and on Friday June 21st was cleared to go flying in the Harvard once again. CHAA pilot Bjarni Tryggvason had the honors of taking him for a flight. Walter completed over 60 missions as a Pathfinder Halifax pilot.
