The 2013 Geneseo Airshow featured two full days of good flying weather. Although some of the regular performers were not in attendance several new aircraft were added. The feature aircraft was no doubt the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum’s Avro Lancaster. The Merlin powered heavy bomber was accompanied by the Vintage Wings of Canada’s Supermarine Spitfire and Hawker Hurricane. |

First time performer at Geneseo was Scott (Scooter) Yoke in his slick “Quick Silver” P-51 Mustang. Scooter’s was joined by Mark Murphy in his P-51 “Never Miss”. Sunday morning saw the two P-51s perform an entertaining dual aerobatic routine. |

Other aircraft new to the Geneseo airshow was the Liberty Aviation Museum’s B-25 “Georgies Gal”, History Flight’s B-25H “Barbie III” and Charlie Lynch’s TBM Avenger. Aerobatic performers included Geneseo regular, Rob Holland, glider aerobatics by Manfred Radius and The Pitts Special Formation Team. |

Along with the P-51 aerobatics John Hyle flew a routine in his Harvard. A special mention goes out to the Liberty Jump Team who jumped out of the National Warplane Museum’s C-47 “Whiskey 7”. 2013 also featured some great pyrotechnics combined with passes from the Liberty Aviation Museum’s B-25. |

A special thanks to all our Geneseo family who make the journey each year to Austin’s backyard. See you all in 2014. |
