The 2010 edition of Thunder Over Michigan featured a gathering of Heavy Bombers and Legends. Eight B-17 Flying Fortresses and a B-24 Liberator were the featured performers. Other highlights included The Horsemen who performed a three-ship P-51 aerobatic routine choreographed to music, an incredible Stearman aerobatic routine by John Mohr. A special treat for many was the appearance of Dean Cutshall flying his F-100F Super Sabre. A TOM favorite is the ground battle performed twice a day. The morning Battle saw Jimmy Leeward flying strafing runs in Jack Rousch’s P-51B “Old Crow”. The afternoon Battle ran simultaneously with the flight of the heavy bombers.
