Who could rest? The weather for the 26th called for rain all night, ending in the morning with clearing skies by noon. We had to meet at 8:30 for a 9:00 brief. Expected take-off time was 10:15. On our 45 minute drive to the airport the dark over cast clouds and low fog were showing signs of clearing. |

The plan is to depart Summerside (CYSU) and once in formation head for the Confederation Bridge. Then fly down to Charlottetown to make some noise for the airshow before overflying some of the beaches around PEI. |

With a less then desirable forecast the Boss took off by himself for a ceiling check. The wait for a “Go” or “Stand Down” was a killer but we finally got the word to go and we took off separately. |
