We spend a day at the York Soaring Association with our good friend Manfred Radius. The York Soaring Association was founded in 1961 and since 1969 has operated out of their own airstrip a few miles east of Arthur, Ontario. Their fleet consists of 18 gliders and three tow planes and has over 150 members. York Soaring is also the home base of Youth Flight Canada and Freedom’s Wings.
