The York Soaring Association, located near Arthur, Ontario, is a welcoming friendly group of individuals who have a passion for soaring. At York one can experience a soaring introductory flight or work towards a glider license.

York Soaring is home of Freedom’s Wings Canada a Canadian Charity Organization providing Inspiration flights to people with disabilities the chance to experience the freedom of sailplane flying. In partnership with York Soaring, Freedom’s Wings provide complete flight training in a sailplane fitted with a set hand controls.

York Soaring is also the home base of Youth Flight Canada that provides bursaries to deserving young people who cannot on their own afford to fly.
