Eric visited the Edenvale Gathering of the Classics with Michael Hatton and his 1972 Bellanca Citabria.
The event saw good flying weather with a mix of sun and clouds with cooler temperatures then the area had experienced in awhile.
The event is one of the largest gatherings of vintage aircraft, cars and motorcycles in Canada. Spectators are encouraged to take flight in a variety of aircraft ranging from a tail-skid equipped open cockpit DH-82A Tiger Moth, a World War Two Cornell trainer, a Classic Canadian built Fleet Canuck and the largest aircraft at the fly-in, the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum’s B-25 Mitchell bomber.

The Canadian Warplane Heritage B-25 Mitchell performed six passenger flights during the day.
Helicopter rides were very popular.
The Gathering featured over 100 classic cars.
