At the 2017 Thunder Over Michigan Airshow we capture a United States Navy Blue Angels Legacy Flight. John O’Connor is seen flying his US Navy Blue Angel marked Grumman F8F Bearcat with Blue Angel solos #5 Frank Weisser and #6 Tyler Davies.

The Bearcat, seen from the B-25 Mitchell photo-ship as we hold and await take-off instructions from the Blue Angels. The Blue Angel solos were performing their timing checks for the airshow and with their remaining fuel we had about 10 minutes to conduct the air-to-air shoot over Ypsilanti.
