April 1st, a USMC VMGR-234 “Rangers” KC-130J 169229 arrived in London from Fort Worth, Texas to drop off Marines for a training exercise. Hydraulic issues grounded the aircraft until parts and mechanics were flown in on April 2nd aboard KC-130J 169228. A “Hot” offload was performed and 169228 immediately returned to their base at Fort Worth. 169229 departed on April 3rd and returned to their Fort Worth base. VMGR-234 is a Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron.
